As a school project, a lot of people thought it was ambitious. Well, I sort of did for a while, but then I kept thinking about it, it's not that ambitious, I mean you know, Abba's Orchard students. :D So yeah, I began thinking big. But in the middle of January, most of us had the urge to stop the musical.
We all felt hopeless and we thought that we couldn't do this "ambitious" thing anymore! The seniors and juniors have to practice for their prom, the seniors have to prepare for graduation day, the sophomores had to prepare a lot for NAT. So all of us were so pessimistic about the musical. Until Mr. Chris gave us a speech of encouragement which made us all excited again. He promised a bunch of things which made us really seem like professionals. He promised radio ads, posters, and more. Yes of course he granted all of those. We all felt more and more excited as the day kept coming closer and closer.
I the middle of February, I got scared, because all we did was practice the songs of Act1, just around two from Act2 and zero blocking. I was like "how are we gonna do this when we got less than a week before the show?" But then Ms. Anita Santos-our director-did her magic, and directed the whole musical in around four days! And yes, it was truly amazing, and everything was a huge success! The standing ovation took all our breaths away. YEAH! We deserve it! And I heard it was the first standing ovation of....I don't really know, but I just heard "first standing ovation-of something-.
Now, about my character :D "Oh it's her, it's madame!"
That was my signal to get out of the backstage and do my thang. :)

*now for the reflective part*
I will really miss rehearsing for the play, and thinking about it, and getting excited about it. EVERY SINGLE BIT! Awwwww, I think I'm about to break into tears now. Anyways, I enjoyed playing Madame T. in every way, because I think that I made people laugh in the middle of misery.-not that I meant misery in a mean way, I meant misery portrayed in the musical- Every single one was amazing, despite the time of practice, and everyone cooperated, from Valjean to a prisoner, they were astounding.
Thank you to Mum and Dad for their everlasting support, for their trust in me, and all their willingness to support. I love you guys so much! My friends and especially Evee. One special mention because I landed on this role because of her, and only her. She suggested me, and then Ms. Annie had an idea. Thank you so much E! love ya! And thanks to Mr. Chris and Ms. Ann, for all this, if you guys din't put effort in this it wouldn't have been that amazing that received a standing ovation. To Ms. Jeni, you were super woman for the play, you weren't seen on stage but you got everything together. Ms. Annie, although I sort of thought of negative thoughts about you-sorry I admit- but that was just very little to be honest, but you are a very amazing trainer. You made every body move like they were supposed to. So I am thankful to what you did. I take my hat off to you. Also to Mr. Dan, thank you for all the vocal coaching, and vocal tips. And to Mr. Manuel, it would've been horrible if we hadn't got your piece of work! Thank you! :)
Merci to all! mwah! :) And to the lovely cast! Awesome performance, if only we could've done it twice :)
